Same here. I have only seen Scream 1 out of everyone’s movies so I just went with 2 people that looked like odd choices… lol. You were not one of them of course. Yeah I talked to Tatum beforehand and Sidney afterwards too. I told Tatum I didn’t stab Scream people before results. So I’m hoping Sidney believes that too and doesn’t think i’m just saying it.

I looked you up and saw you are from the 4th Nightmare on Elm Street movie. I didn’t even know there was that many. How many are there? Maybe I will watch 1-4 for you..

there are six of them in the regular continuity and then there’s a seventh one that is meta, and then the eighth one is a crossover with friday the 13th back in the original continuity, and then the ninth movie is a remake.

if it makes you feel better, people love 1 and 3 the most! 2 was hated back in the day but it’s much appreciated now. people were let down by how camp it was and questioned all the lgbtq+ undertones to it but now people receive it well since they know what it was going for. 4 is good too but it’s the film that starts changing tonally for the series (it goes from more scary freddy to pop culture friendly freddy).

If we can be good allies to each other I am about to watch them all and suffer for you lol. That is so many movies… do they ever get old?

haha that works!!! thank you! i would do the same for you but ive seen all your movies. i personally love this series but that’s just me. the deaths are really creative and at least in the earlier films there was a lot of practical effects which is much better than the shit cgi nowadays.

quick summaries of the films:
1 - original; burnt man with razor hands stalks girl and friends in their dreams because parents burned him a long time ago
2 - closeted guy moves in to house from original; freddy tries to possess him and it’s an allegory for gays having to face their inner demons
3 - teens at psych hospital get picked off by freddy and adults think they’re just crazy so they say fuck it and fight back
4 - daydreamer becomes new focus of freddy and basically her not knowing what coffee is is why all her friends die
5 - teenager gets knocked up and her baby is having the nightmares so people can die anytime because of this since babies sleep all day
6 - town is a ghost town because all the teens are dead bc of freddy but freddy wants to spread his influence so he pulls some strings but comes face to face with his own real life child
7 - this one takes place irl where the freddy movies are a thing and the actress who starred in the first movie is the main character here and her family is being harassed and it turns out freddy was inspired by a real entity
crossover - ignoring part 7 and picking up from 6; town has gone back to normal and people are countering freddy by suppressing dreams with medicine but anyone who does remember him is sent to a psych ward; freddy gets mad because his power comes from fear and nobody cares about him so he revives jason from friday the 13th to make people think he’s alive
remake - a shitty version of the original film even though there are some cool moments but not enough to make up for the shitfest it was

and sheila was the most robbed. her death scene pisses me off so much. this series is known for having likable characters that die.
