An Introduction... And A Killer Twist

Hello everybody and welcome to the very first season of Big Brother Horror! As you now know, the theme for this season is the Scream franchise. As a film series extremely close to my heart, I couldn’t think of a better way to start things off than by paying homage to some of the most jaw-dropping, terrifying and at times, hilarious horror flicks the genre has ever seen.

I’m a horror junkie, and you may have noticed if you’ve taken a look at the cast list that I sent around on Wednesday, that every single person competing in this season of Big Brother Horror is playing a female character from a horror movie! The ‘final girl’ is a trope in horror where the last female alive gets the opportunity to confront the killer and walk away having survived all of the attempts on their life.

Who will be our Final Girl? That’s what we’re here to find out!

Please welcome my co-hosts Mari and Sophia, who will be helping you out around the forum as Amber and Jill, respectively.





But wait! That’s not all. As some of you may know, there is going to be a KILLER twist this season. For the first THREE in-game weeks, one of your fellow Houseguests will name a third nominee to sit on the block alongside the regular two nominees.

NOTE: The Killer CAN nominate themselves. If Veto is used on their Nominee, the Killer will make another nomination.

Our killer was chosen and briefed ahead of the season starting. With their power comes high risk.

At certain points over the next three in-game weeks, we will ask you all to name who you think the killer is, in your Diary Room.

If the majority of you successfully name the killer, they will go home without a nomination ceremony, without the chance to compete in Veto and, without the chance to campaign for votes. It will be over.

If the House is unsuccessful in unmasking our killer within those three weeks however, the Killer will never be unmasked and instead, will gain a secret advantage in the next THREE Head of Household competitions that they compete in.
